Sailing Concierge on the Disney Treasure: A Magical Upgrade for Families

October 24, 2025 by Abby Rom

There are Disney vacations that feel magical, and then there are ones that feel effortless. For our family, sailing concierge aboard the Disney Treasure somehow managed to be both.

If you’re looking for a way to elevate your Disney Cruise Line experience—to add a little more space, a little more calm, and a lot more service—concierge is a beautiful way to do just that. This blog isn’t a checklist of perks or an unboxing of amenities (though there are plenty!). It’s more of a look at what it feels like to sail concierge as a family: what surprised us, what delighted us, and what I think you should know if you’re dreaming of your own upgraded Disney cruise.

What Concierge Includes (and Why It Matters)

The concierge experience begins before you ever board. You’ll receive early access to book onboard activities, including cabanas at Castaway Cay (if you’re lucky!), and adult dining reservations like Palo Steakhouse or Enchanté.

Once you arrive at port, things feel different right away. There’s a dedicated check-in line, priority boarding, and a warm welcome that sets the tone for the rest of your cruise. We were on the ship and in the Grand Hall before general boarding began, skipping the lines and easing straight into vacation mode.

From there, concierge guests enjoy access to:

  • An elevated Concierge Welcome Lunch with complimentary cocktails and an opportunity to meet Concierge Hosts
  • A dedicated Concierge Lounge, offering snacks, desserts, and drinks throughout the day
  • A private Concierge Sundeck with shaded loungers, a hot tub, and bar service
  • A complimentary 24-hour Wi-Fi session (for one device per guest)
  • A team of Concierge Hosts available to assist with everything from show seating to dining tweaks

And yes, the staterooms themselves are stunning, and available earlier than standard rooms onboard. Plus, luggage is delivered quickly to Concierge staterooms on embarkation day! We had all of our luggage before the required muster drill.

Concierge guests also receive priority disembarkation, which makes that final morning much smoother. And one of our favorite perks? Reserved seating access for shows. Thanks to a special entrance just for Concierge guests, we had amazing seats for Disney Seas the Adventure, Disney’s Tale of Moana, and Beauty and the Beast complete with complimentary bottled water and popcorn.

Our Stateroom: A Calm and Spacious Retreat

We sailed in a Concierge Family Oceanview Stateroom (Category 3B), and it was one of the most beautiful and functional cruise cabins we’ve ever experienced.

The first thing you’ll notice? Two full walls of floor-to-ceiling ocean views. At any moment—morning, sunset, or just before bed—you could look out and feel completely connected to the sea.

This room has a fully private bedroom with a king-size bed and its own tucked-away vanity, at which my teenage daughter and I shared several special “getting ready” moments together. There’s a surprising amount of floor space, and even with kids, we never felt on top of each other. The living area includes a sofa, chairs, coffee table, and three additional beds (a sleeper sofa, ceiling pull-down, and wall-mounted pull-down) that are made up for you each evening. For our family of five, this meant each child had their own bed and space, which they loved.

The storage deserves a shoutout, too. Drawers, shelving, closets, and space under the bed kept everything tucked away and easy to find.

Lounge Perks: Light Bites, Hot Plates, and a Quiet Escape

One of the things I loved most was the Concierge Lounge. It wasn’t just a snack stop (though the snacks were great!); it became a kind of home base for us throughout the day.

In the mornings, you could grab a quiet breakfast, complete with Mickey Waffles every day (and even churro waffles on select mornings), my favorite breakfast sandwich I’ve ever eaten, and a selection of cereals, fruit or pastries. My coffee-fans will love the the espresso machines and service. In the afternoons, the lounge offered both light bites and rotating hot dishes like seafood, sandwiches, flatbreads, and pasta—perfect when you didn’t feel like heading to the buffet. Kids are not left out, either. A rotating kids menu offered chicken tenders and a variety of other dishes throughout the week.

There were sweet treats in the evenings and an open bar in the evening. I won’t forget my evenings just chatting with our Concierge Hosts as they poured another glass of champagne or created their own specialty cocktail for me.

The Concierge Sundeck: Understated Luxury

This is one of those perks that doesn’t always get the spotlight it deserves. The sundeck was peaceful, shaded, and never crowded. We had bar service, cold towels, and loungers waiting for us anytime we wanted to unwind.

One of my favorite memories from the trip is an afternoon we all spent here—feet up, drinks in hand, ocean breeze, and nothing on the schedule. That space to pause, especially when cruising with kids, felt like such a gift.

Concierge with Kids: What Surprised Me Most

Before our first experience sailing concierge with kids, I thought it might be a little too grown-up, a little too quiet, or too formal for a family with young kids. I couldn’t have been more wrong.

The Concierge Lounge welcomes children. Between the Mickey cartoons and kid-friendly seating area, constant supply of apple juice, grapes, and M&Ms, my kids enjoyed the lounge as much as I did. We also made friends with other families!

The Concierge Hosts went out of their way to make my kids feel special. My kids were greeted by name, treated like guests (not just an extension of their parents), and we loved the special character greeting in the lounge. Our Concierge Hosts served with genuine care that made all of us feel seen.

And for me? Having a space to breathe, regroup, and recharge—without leaving the magic behind—was everything.

Final Thoughts: Is Concierge Right for Every Trip?

Maybe not. But if you’re planning something special, want a little more calm in the chaos, or just value thoughtful service and extra space, it can be a game-changer.

For us, concierge turned a wonderful Disney cruise into something even more relaxing, more connected, and more memorable. And isn’t that what we’re all hoping for when we travel together?
